I don't know much about musical theory, nor am I a musically inclined person. However, I do love to listen to video game soundtracks. Who doesn't? They can be a powerful listening experience in their own right, or be as evocative as the scores composed for film. Each of these posts will feature music tracks from a single game title, or series/franchise in some rare cases.
Composer: Masaru Shiina (Go Shiina)
North American Release Date: February 2019
The game is set in the year 2081, 10 years after the first God Eater game. Civilization has been ravaged by mysterious monsters known as "Aragami" and the organization dedicated to fighting them - Fenrir, has been obliterated by a new threat in the form of "ash storms". The "God Eaters", people who use living weapons called "God Arcs" to fight the Aragami, have been enslaved. What survivors remain live underground in constructed bases known as "Ports".
