I don't know much about musical theory, nor am I a musically inclined person. However, I do love to listen to video game soundtracks. Who doesn't? They can be a powerful listening experience in their own right, or be as evocative as the scores composed for film. Each of these posts will feature music tracks from a single game title, or series/franchise in some rare cases.

Players control a boy who befriends a giant griffon named Trico. Together they attempt to escape their prison, dodging stone guardians and crumbling architecture.
Furakawa stated that Ueda trusted him to compose the music and provided only a broad direction of a cinematic soundtrack and some specific directorial notes. Furakawa wanted to avoid overstating the emotional aspect of the game, which he felt was already sufficiently conveyed through the gameplay and animation, and instead kept the music restrained except during key narrative elements or in specific locales of the game.
